The Art of Being, Becoming, and Belonging Creative Practices Summer Series: Drumming Circles

July 20 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join us on this rhythmic journey toward healing, growth, and belonging. Engage in a session where we blend rhythms in exercises to create a pathway to healing and connection. Drumming, a powerful tool for relaxation, emotional release, and self-discovery, unites individuals in a collective experience. This course, offered by community-based occupational therapists John Salgado Maldonado and Nicole Konz, integrates drumming with occupational therapy for a holistic approach to well-being. It addresses physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects, promoting meaningful participation in daily activities and enhancing overall quality of life. You'll find a safe space to process difficult experiences, reclaim personal power, and transform, restoring a sense of wholeness. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, this course is inclusive and welcoming. 2 -1 Hour Sessions: Limited to 15 participants per session.
