Lyricality Partners

We partner with Minnesota Poets & Writers,
and central Minnesota organizations

to foster the art of empathy through poetry and story.

Our partner organizations are made of individuals who collaborate with us on much more than projects. We begin with a vision for justice and peace, then we engage in meaningful conversation about the steps we can take to promote healing and resilience in our communities, one step at a time. We agree to foster the art of empathy in our daily lives while we explore how our collaborations can demonstrate our mutual commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

We are especially grateful for their leadership and mentoring, showing us ways to embody our commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion, accountability, and transparency.

While all of our partners are our “favorites,” our work with ABE and Literacy Minnesota is especially dear to our hearts.  Follow this link to find the interdisciplinary resources and activities we designed to help instructors facilitate a heart-to-heart connection between their students, a guest poet, and the words of a Minnesota-based Indigenous (Native American) poet, by collaborating in the creation of a communal poem. And this link will lead you to the collaborative communal poem, “We Are Here,” composed with Somali-American adult English language learners at La Cruz Community Center in St. Cloud, MN.
